This week I spoke with visual identity designer Connor Fowler. Connor and I spoke about his path into the creative industry, his advice on social media, and his experience creating his own podcast and speaking at FrontRow 2019. Connor posts his work to social media and works primarily in logo design and branding and has a very minimal style to his design. We had a great conversation about the importance of simplicity in a logo and even critiqued the Starbucks logo as an example of a logo that works within the identity and brand of the entire company. This was a great conversation whether you're looking to get into branding or not and shed some light on how to approach projects while looking at the bigger picture than the immediate project. Connor is an awesome designer and definitely worth a follow so make sure to check out his work here:
